The Next Step...

Hello Friends,

Well, it's official: I have a job! and I am SO excited!

I have accepted a position working at the University of Victoria for next school year!

I will be a Residence Area Coordinator working for the UVic Department of Housing, Food and Conferences Services. I will be on a team of 3 RACs, each with 17 staff members. I will start on July 1^st. Other details (like which area) are still in the works :)

This is a very exciting opportunity for me; one which resonates with my current experience, but also offers me the chance to work and grow in a new environment and develop new skills and competencies; and also one which doesn’t send me too far away from home, UBC (so I can still visit and keep in touch with family and friends).

I look forward to a great start to a promising career, and plan to keep in touch with my roots as well!

To all of you who have been there to support me in whatever way, thank-you very much. :)
